Terms of Use

Welcome to MyGameDNA. These terms govern your use of the website and its classification tools, questionnaire, catalogue, rankings, and profile features. By using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Eligibility and your account

• You must be legally able to enter into these terms and old enough to use the service where you live.
• You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password confidential, and for activity that happens under your account.
• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Do not share your account or let someone else use it to evade a moderation decision.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, or abuse other users;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation;
• scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the service or its data outside normal browsing;
• use bots or automated tooling to submit content or scores, or to create accounts;
• attempt to circumvent moderation, rate limits, or other technical controls;
• attempt to access accounts or data you do not have permission to access; or
• use the service for anything unlawful.

3. Classifications are editorial estimates

The Challenge and Reward profiles, scores, and rankings are opinionated editorial estimates produced from a combination of expert assessment and player submissions. They are not objective facts or professional advice, and they will change as more data arrives. Do not rely on them for purchasing or other important decisions.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you post, such as your profile text, questionnaire answers, scores, and reports. By posting it, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content as part of operating and promoting the service. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we need to keep copies for legal or moderation reasons. You confirm that you have the right to post what you post.

5. Content and moderation

• You can report content or users that break these terms.
• We review reports and may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or delete accounts.
• Where we identify a problem, we may require you to correct or remove content before you can continue using certain features, for example by routing you through a remediation step.
• Moderation decisions are ours to make, and we may act on content that harms the community even if it is not listed above.

6. Availability

MyGameDNA is a free service provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that classifications are accurate or complete. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including loss of data or reliance on a classification. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Intellectual property

Game titles, artwork, screenshots, and logos belong to their respective owners. We use them descriptively to identify the games being classified, and MyGameDNA is not affiliated with or endorsed by those owners. The MyGameDNA name, site design, and original text are ours.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
